The experience you'll have:

  • Work on the creation of a curriculum product making an outsized impact on learning
  • Help to ensure equity in the classroom by delivering curriculum that is engaging to diverse learners
  • Experience the excitement of building something impactful from the ground up with new day-to-day challenges
  • Collaborate in a supportive environment filled with a strong community collectively focused on equity and impact

What you’ll work on:

  • Developing context-rich lessons, activities, and problem sequences to engage diverse learners
  • Writing scripts for animations and feedback from outlined plan
  • Storyboard animations and problem flow from outlined plan
  • Anticipating student errors to different problems
  • Identify ways to teach math concepts, develop fluency, and foster joy in learning from errors

Who we’re looking for:

  • 1 year of full-time teaching experience in grades K–12 or equivalent practical experience creating environments where learners are enthused and empowered
  • A strong working knowledge of the Common Core State Standards, Grades K–8 (or comparable state standards), including both the content standards and the practice standards
  • Effective time management while contributing to multiple projects
  • Effective collaboration with diverse colleagues and external partners
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Multi-subject Teaching Credential or Mathematics Subject Teaching Credential or equivalent practical experience
  • Versatile technology skills including willingness to learn Adobe Animate, our Content Management System, Google Suite, and other technology tools

As a startup, we are looking for someone willing to also contribute to other needs as they arise.

  • Multilingual preferred, ideally Spanish in addition to fluency in English

  • Plan ways to teach math concepts, develop fluency, and enjoy learning from errors

Who we’re looking for:

  • 5+ year of full-time teaching experience in grades any K–12 or equivalent practical experience creating environments where learners are enthused and empowered
  • Strong working knowledge of the Common Core State Standards, Grades K–8 (or comparable state standards), including both the content standards and the practice standards
  • Effective time management while contributing to multiple projects and able to scope projects
  • Effective collaboration with diverse colleagues and external partners
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
  • Multi-subject Teaching Credential or Mathematics Subject Teaching Credential or equivalent practical experience
  • Kindergarten or middle school teaching experience in mathematics
  • Experience with curriculum development and selection
  • Versatile technology skills including a willingness to learn Adobe Animate, our Content Management System, Google suite, and other technology tools
